Description:

Cefepime 1gm Injection is a broad-spectrum, fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of a wide range of serious bacterial infections. It offers enhanced stability against beta-lactamase enzymes and provides potent activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Composition:

• Active Ingredient: Cefepime Hydrochloride equivalent to Cefepime 1gm

• Dosage Form: Sterile lyophilized powder for injection

• Route of Administration: Intravenous (IV) or Intramuscular (IM)

Indications:

Cefepime Injection is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible organisms:

• Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Intra-abdominal infections (in combination therapy)

• Febrile neutropenia

• Bacteremia and sepsis

• Empiric therapy in hospitalized patients with suspected bacterial infections
